Going for the Long Game: Three things that really Matter.

  • Theological Horizons 1841 University Circle Charlottesville, VA 22903 (map)

Join us for our second Faith & Work lunch with John & Susan Yates. Long time UVA parents and grandparents, they’ve spent their lives serving the church and its people. They’ll be in conversation with their grandson and Vintern, Cashel Yates ‘28 as well as TH social media intern Gracie Campbell ‘27. We’ll hear more about what they’ve learned really matters from their spiritual and vocational journeys.

The Yates Family Camp

John has been a Pastor for over 50 years and Susan is an author, speaker and blogger. (susanalexanderyates.com) They have loved a long association with college kids and UVA. They are the parents of 5, including 3 UVA grads, and grandparents of 21.

Theological Horizons is a non-profit ministry centered at the Bonhoeffer House in Charlottesville, Virginia. We provide a welcoming community for all, with a focus on conversations at the intersection of faith, thought, and life. We lean on the Bible and the riches of Christian tradition to guide our conversations as we navigate together life’s deeper questions. Faith & Work is a lunch series that fosters these types of conversations.
