VINTAGE LUNCH
The Vision
Theological Horizons’ weekly hour of free food and discussion- sparked by classic concepts, stories and practices from the Christian tradition. We learn from people who sought spiritual guidance and wisdom in their own times and places – across centuries, continents, and identities. These older brothers and sisters we call saints are mentors and friends who help us understand our own lives, our own times, our own faith.
Our motto here is All welcome. Always. And we mean that. Whether you are a lifelong Christian, questioning, simply curious about spirituality, or you just came for the free lunch, we would be so very grateful to have you.
Free Lunch. Every Friday. 1-2pm.
All are welcome. Always. No preparation is necessary.
-
You’ll find us at the Bonhoeffer House, 1841 University Circle, every Friday during the school year from 1-2.
-
A meal in a real home. An engaging talk while you sit and eat. You will be invited to discussion, but it is not required. There is often a chance to stay and linger, but you always the freedom to leave when you need to.
-
Presence. The willingness to meet new people and hear some possibly new ideas. Nothing else.
Check the GroupMe for weekly walking groups from Grounds and a preview of what’s on the menu.
