Please join us and TH friends for an intimate catered lunch at the Bonhoeffer House as we hear from TH friends and UVA parents, Elizabeth and Evans Rice, in conversation with their daughters, Katie (‘27) and Charlotte (‘29) about their faith and vocational journeys, especially as it relates to their more recent interest and work in family systems and healing.

Elizabeth holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. She has received extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) that informs much of her work with couples and families harnessing the power of attachment, emotional safety, and connection to create lasting change. She also draws on Internal Family Systems and Storywork.

Evans is a lawyer with Hogan Lovells Cadwalader where he focuses on white-collar criminal defense, internal investigations, and corporate compliance. Prior to that, Evans served as a federal prosecutor with the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice and the United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia prosecuting official misconduct and human trafficking cases.

Elizabeth and Evans live in Falls Church and are parents to four young adults.
