Here at the Bonhoeffer House, we’re grateful to have walked with these students—gathering them around tables of welcome and into conversations that linger, where questions can be spoken aloud and where they have been reminded, again and again, of the steadfast love given to us in Jesus, the risen Christ.
“Graduating this weekend feels surreal, and it’s hard to believe four years have passed since I walked into my first Vintage Lunch! Throughout my time at UVA, Theological Horizons offered the steady encouragement I needed to think deeply, critically, and hopefully about my faith. Stories of saints and faith leaders, speakers like Bryan Stevenson, David Brooks, and David and Nancy French, and the community and mentorship I received from TH these four years have been pivotal in my spiritual journey. I couldn’t have anticipated this walking into UVA, but as I walk the Lawn this weekend, I’m emboldened to live out my faith in all my endeavors and grateful for the steadfast encouragement from my TH family.”
