From TH Board Chair, Nancy Beane

As my season as board chair comes to a close, I am convinced that Theological Horizons is truly a ministry for our moment: attentive to the shifting landscape of the university, responsive to the spiritual needs of students and larger community, reliant on the wisdom of “Vintage” Christians, steeped in Scripture and dependent on God’s guidance.

I first encountered Theological Horizons as a high school college counselor searching for a welcoming “home” for my students headed to UVA. Since then, TH has ever been a transformative place of Bible-centered learning and love that ground young adults as they navigate complex college life.

Even as I complete my term, Penny Peebles steps up as chairperson – and she is joined by an energetic, prayerful board of directors who are as passionate about this ministry as I am. Together we thank YOU for joining us here: at the intersection of faith, thought and life. May the Lord continue to bless our work together!
